13.4.2 How to specify a user name

You can specify a user name by using the Browse button or by directly typing the user name from the keyboard. If the user to be specified is registered in Asset Console, you can use either of these two methods. If the user is not registered, such as in the case of a user who only uses the device, you must directly type the user name from the keyboard.

To specify a user name by using the Browse button:

1. In the user name specification field, click the Browse button.

   The Browse Users dialog box is displayed.

2. From the tree, select the group to which the user belongs.

   A list of users belonging to the selected group is displayed.

3. Select the desired user name, and then click the OK button.

   The Browse Users dialog box closes, and the selected user is specified.
