B.1 Events for which information is output to audit logs

The table below shows the types of events for which information is output to the audit log, and the timing with which JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 outputs the information. An event type is an identifier used to classify events output to the audit log.

StartStop

Indicates that software has started or shut down.

When a program with a GUI starts or stops

Authentication

An event indicating that authentication of an administrator succeeded or failed.

When authentication takes place in a program with a GUI

ContentAccess

Indicates that an attempt was made to access a file, registry entry, or database data managed by JP1/IT Desktop Management 2, and the attempt succeeded or failed.
