- Organization of this subsection
(1) Format
JOB_SCHEDULE{ job_entry_date=job-registration-date-and-time job_execution_date=job-execution-date-and-time job_expiration_date=job-expiration-date }
(2) Description
-
job_entry_date=job-registration-date-and-time
Specify the date and time of job registration in the YYMMDDhh:mm format.
YY: Last two digits of year (00 to 36 or 70 to 99)
MM: Month (01 to 12)
DD: Day (01 to 31)
hh: Hour (00 to 23)
mm: Minute (00 to 59)
When this parameter is omitted, the date and time at which the job is executed is assumed to be the date and time of job registration.
-
job_execution_date=job-execution-date-and-time
Specify the date and time of job execution in the YYMMDDhh:mm format.
The values of job execution date and time use the same format as that for the job_entry_date parameter.
When this parameter is omitted, the target job is executed immediately. Note that you can omit this parameter only when you omit both of the job_entry_date and job_expiration_date parameters.
-
job_expiration_date=job-expiration-date
Specify the date and time of job expiration in the YYMMDDhh:mm format.
The values of job expiration date use the same format as that for the job_entry_date parameter.
When this parameter is omitted, the job expiration date is indefinite.
(3) Notes
-
An error occurs when the values of the job_execution_date, job_entry_date, and job_expiration_date parameters do not meet the following condition:
-
When the job registration date and time, job execution date and time, or job expiration date is specified for a job, a job definition is stored in the server. If the stored job definition is deleted before the job is created (that is, before the specified job registration date and time), the job cannot be created.
-
When the job registration date and time, job execution date and time, or job expiration date is specified for a job, the command will end normally even with a nonexistent destination, host group, or destination ID specified, but the job will not be executed.
-
The values for the last two digits of year have the following meanings:
70 to 99: Years in the 1900s
00 to 36: Years in the 2000s
