14.19.9 JOB_DESTINATION (specifying the job destination)

In the JOB_DESTINATION tag, specify the destination of a job. This tag is used for the dcmcoll, dcminst, and dcmsusp commands.

The following table shows the parameters that can be specified, and their corresponding command arguments:

group=host-group-name

Specify a host group name defined in the managing server by using a path from the root directory. The following shows an example of specifying a host group name:
```
group=\group1\group2\group
```
When specifying multiple host group names, separate them by a semicolon (;). You can specify multiple host group names also by writing group= on multiple lines. You can add host group names until the total number of host group names and host names specified in the group and host_name parameters reaches 200.
host_name=host-name

Specify the host name of the managed computer defined in the managing server. To specify a host, use the path to the corresponding managed computer or the host ID of the host in place of the host name.

When specifying the destination as the path to a target computer, begin the path name with a backslash (\) and separate the names of relay systems or management relay servers with \ as follows:
```
host_name=\Submanager1\host1
```
When specifying the path to a destination for a job specifying a relay system or management relay server as the destination, specify the name of the relay system or management relay server as both the path and the destination as follows:
```
host_name=\Submanager1\Submanager1
```
When specifying multiple host names, separate them by a semicolon (;). You can specify multiple host group names also by writing host_name= on multiple lines. You can add host names until the total number of host group names and host names specified in the group and host_name parameters reaches 200.

If IP addresses are used to manage computers, use IP addresses to specify host names.

(3) Notes

You cannot specify the JOB_DESTINATION tag together with the JOB_DESTINATION_ID tag. Also, when using command arguments, you cannot specify /g and /h together with /X.
When host names are used as the ID keys for operations, you cannot use the host_name parameter in the following cases:
- Use Network in Windows is selected as the method of address resolution on the Settings for Address Resolution panel for the setup of JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Manager. Or, Use Network in Windows is selected in Settings of the ID key for operations under Relay system settings for agent configuration. However, address resolution fails
- Use the system configuration information for IT Desktop Management 2 is selected as the method of address resolution on the Settings for Address Resolution panel for the setup of JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Manager. Or, Use the system configuration information for IT Desktop Management 2 is selected in Settings of the ID key for operations under Relay system settings for agent configuration.
