12.6 Notes on job execution after the managed computer awakes from sleep mode
The following describes job execution on a managed computer that has just awoken from the sleep mode. (A managed computer that has not been operated for a given time enters the sleep mode to save power.)
-
Polling and package installation scheduled since system startup cannot be executed. To execute these jobs, restart the managed computer after it awakes.
-
The programs in the ITDM2_Startup group are not started. To start them, log back on from the agent to the managing server.
-
The polling and package installation scheduled with date and time specified are executed if the managed computer awoke after a specified date and time.
-
If package downloading was started before the managed computer entered the sleep mode, the job cannot be executed after the managed computer has awoken. The job is resumed after it is retried, or when polling is executed.
-
If package installation was started before the managed computer entered the sleep mode, the job is resumed after the managed computer awakes from the sleep mode.
