10.5.4 Forcibly completing a split distribution job

Forced completion is to suspend a split distribution job, and transfer the remainder of the package in a single transfer. To forcibly complete a split distribution job, select Execute, and then Forcibly Complete Split Distribution in the Job Status window. The forcibly completed job is transferred from a system directly under the system to the distribution destination system, in a single transfer without splitting (normal distribution). Note that forced completion of split distribution applies to only the split distribution jobs on all the systems under a system that executed the forced completion. Note also that a suspended job or resuming job cannot be forcibly completed.

You might want to forcibly complete split distribution only on a relay system or management relay server directly under the system where you executed forced completion. You might also want to execute split distribution to distribution destination systems under the relay system or management relay server. In such a case, distribute the same package by executing a Transfer package to relay computer job. Split distribution to the relay system or management relay server is forcibly completed (then changed to normal distribution), but split distribution is performed on the distribution destination systems under the relay system or management relay server.
