6.5.3 Restoring deleted hosts to system configuration information

You can restore a deleted host to the system configuration information based on the deletion history recorded for the host. Note that the host group, ID group, and device information for the deleted host will not be restored.

You cannot restore a host if the same host is registered in the system configuration information, or if the route of the host at the time of its deletion no longer exists. Also, in managing server systems in a hierarchical structure, relay systems and managed computers under management relay servers cannot be restored from the higher manager.

When you restore a deleted host to the system configuration information, the deletion history for the host remains in the Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box. You can delete this information as needed.

To restore a deleted host to the system configuration information:

  1. From the File menu, select Deletion History of System Configuration Information.

The Deletion History of System Configuration Information dialog box appears.

  2. Select the host you want to restore, and then click Restore.

The host is restored to the system configuration information.

You can also select multiple hosts and restore them as a batch.
