4.1 Starting and stopping a managing server
The server functions of a managing server start automatically when the operating system starts, and cease automatically when the operating system shuts down.
If you want to start the managing server at any other time, execute the startservice command. To stop the managing server at any time, execute the stopservice command. For details about these commands, see the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 Administration Guide.
