1.2.1 Types of JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Manager installation

The following are the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Manager installation types. During installation, select the appropriate type for your needs.

Quick installation: Use this type of installation to set up the product with a minimum number of operations. Default values are used for the settings and setup. We recommend this method when no special settings are required.
Custom installation: Install the product by specifying each setting. You must perform setup after installation to create a database. We recommend this method if you want to use special values for installation and setup. When you build a multi-server configuration system or install a server with the large-scale management option enabled, you must select this type.
