6.4.2 Startup event destination definition file (apmdest.conf)

Define the server to be notified of an event when APM starts up. After modifying this file, restart APM.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Format

Specify a host name or IP address of the notification destination. Add a semicolon (;) at the end of the specified host name or IP address. To specify multiple notification destinations, specify an additional destination after each semicolon (;). The specification can include linefeeds. A hash mark (#) and the subsequent string will be regarded as a comment, even when the applicable line is not a comment line.

The following is a format of a Startup event destination definition file.

(2) Description

Item

Value

communication-destination-host-name-or-IP-address

Specify a host name or IP address of the server to be notified of an event by using no more than 255 bytes. If the notification destination SSO has multiple interfaces, specify the change-my-address: key value in the ssoapmon action definition file (ssoapmon.def). For details about the ssoapmon action definition file, see 6.3.7 ssoapmon action definition file (ssoapmon.def).

(4) Notes

If SSO is already monitoring processes and there exists a definition file for monitoring conditions (nnnnnnnnnnnn.apm, where n is from 0 to 9) for APM, you do not need to define the startup event destination definition file (apmdest.conf).
