3.5.2 Linking with the required software (UNIX only)
The required JP1/ESA software limits the number of sub agents with which the provided master agent can establish connections. If the number of sub agents exceeds this limit, a message is output in the following file:
File name: /var/adm/snmpd.log
Message: AllocSubagent: runtime_MAX_SUBAGENTS exceeded
If the hiapmmib daemon process, the sub agent provided by APM, does not start and the above message is output, modify the number of sub agents with which the master agent can establish connections.
