Remote Agent settings.

  • [Target]

    Settings information about the monitoring target.

    For PFM - RM for Platform, the JPCAPP label indicates whether the setting for collecting information about whether processes are running (application definition) is enabled or disabled. (The value is 0 if the setting is disabled and 1 if it is enabled.)

  • [Interval Records]

    Settings for the method for recording PI records.

  • [Detail Records]

    Settings for the method for recording PD records.

  • [Log Records]

    Settings for the method for recording PL records.

Select Remote Agent in the Services tree in PFM - Web Console, and then change the settings for the following nodes displayed in Properties:

  • [Remote Monitor Configuration] node and the nodes under it.

    To change the JPCAPP value for PFM - RM for Platform, change the settings for [Application monitoring setting] under this node and the settings for the nodes below [Application monitoring setting].

  • [Interval Records] node and the nodes under it.

  • [Detail Records] node and the nodes under it.

  • [Log Records] node and the nodes under it.

Note:

If there is a problem in the communication between the monitoring manager and agents, the information output here might not match the information managed by the monitoring manager.

Use the Bind Alarm Table method for each agent in the Agents tree in PFM - Web Console, or use the jpctool alarm command.

Use the Monitoring Suspension Settings method for each agent in the Agents tree in PFM - Web Console, or use the jpctool monitor command.

"***Application Definition Information (Process Operation Status)"

Whether processes are running (application definition).

This might be output even if the setting for collecting information about whether processes are running (application definition) is disabled (when the value of the JPCAPP label in [Target] of "***Settings Information (Remote Agent)" is 0). In such a case, ignore this content.

Use the same method as that for changing the JPCAPP value of "***Settings Information (Remote Agent)".
