  • [Health Check Configurations]

    Settings for the health check (ICMP) for the host to be monitored.

    This is not displayed in an environment where an installation has just been performed.

Depending on the settings, the following item might be added after operation starts#:

  • Health Check for Target Hosts

Select the desired service (either Remote Monitor Collector for PFM - RM, or Agent Collector for PFM - Agent) in the Services tree in PFM - Web Console, and then change the settings for the following nodes displayed in Properties:

  • [Remote Monitor Configuration] or [Agent Configuration] node

  • [Interval Records] node and the nodes under it

  • [Detail Records] node and the nodes under it

  • [Log Records] node and the nodes under it

  • [Health Check Configurations] node

Settings for the Store service (content of the jpcsto.ini file).

  • [RetentionEx Section] and [Retention Section]

    Settings information about the storage period for agent performance data

  • [Mode Section]

    Settings information about the Store version of the agent. Use the jpcconf db command to confirm the settings.

  • [Data Section]

    Information about the storage location for agent performance data. Use the jpcconf db command to confirm the settings.

Ignore any other items.

  • [RetentionEx Section] and [Retention Section]

    Select the desired Store service (either Remote Monitor Store for PFM - RM, or Agent Store for PFM - Agent) in the Services tree in PFM - Web Console, and then change the settings for [RetentionEx] or [Retention] (displayed in Properties) and the nodes under it.

  • [Mode Section] or [Data Section]

    Use the jpcconf db command.

Settings for the method for recording performance data for the group agent.

Depending on the settings, the following item might be added after operation starts#:

  • monitoring-target-name

Select Group Agent in the Services tree in PFM - Web Console, and then change the settings for the following nodes displayed in Properties:

  • [Interval Records] node and the nodes under it

  • [Detail Records] node and the nodes under it

  • [Log Records] node and the nodes under it

"***ITSLM Connection Information"

SLM connection settings

Select the service to be changed in the Services tree in PFM - Web Console, and then change the [ITSLM Connection] settings for the [ITSLM Connection Configuration] node displayed in Properties.

"***Alarm Bind Information"

For PFM - RM, the settings for binding alarm tables for group agents are output. For the multi-instance PFM - Agent, the settings for binding alarm tables for instances are output.

Note:

If there is a problem in the communication between the monitoring manager and agents, the information output here might not match the information managed by the monitoring manager.

Use the Bind Alarm Table method for each agent in the Agents tree in PFM - Web Console, or use the jpctool alarm command.
