An attempt to setup the agent for the Manager failed. (servicekey=service-key-of-PFM-Agent, version=version)

An attempt to set up PFM - Agent indicated by service-key-of-PFM-Agent on PFM - Manager has failed. The possible causes are as follows:

The access permissions for the following directories are missing, or there is not enough disk space:

For Windows

installation-folder\mgr\manager\

installation-folder\mgr\viewsvr\

For UNIX

/opt/jp1pc/mgr/manager/

/opt/jp1pc/mgr/viewsvr/

While PFM - Manager has been set up in the logical host environment and is running on the executing node, you do not have permission to access the directories listed below or there is not enough disk space:

For Windows

environment-directory\jp1pc\mgr\manager\

environment-directory\jp1pc\mgr\viewsvr\

For UNIX

environment-directory/jp1pc/mgr/manager/

environment-directory/jp1pc/mgr/viewsvr/

PFM - Manager has been set up in the logical host environment, and it is running on the standby node.

If PFM - Manager has been set up in the logical host environment and is running on the standby node, re-execute the command on the executing node.

If this message was displayed during the installation, check the following and then re-install PFM - Manager:

  • Whether you have the permissions to access the directories

  • Whether there is enough disk space
