1.4.2 Display Summary window

The System Operational Status Summary window lists the operating status of the agents selected in the navigation frame. To display this window in the information frame, click the Display Summary button in the method frame in the Agents window.

The following figure shows the System Operational Status Summary window.

The System Operational Status Summary window consists of the following four areas:

The following describes the displayed items:

Refresh

Refreshes the System Operational Status Summary page.

Stop

Clicking this switches the menu to Print.

Print

Clicking this opens a separate window for printing a summary. The following shows the System Operational Status Summary Print window.

Display the Operational Status from the result of the refine search

From the results of filtering in the navigation frame, specify whether to include hidden agents in the summary display. When the system operational status summary functionality stops, this check box is no longer available. However, its selection state remains the same.

  • When selected:

    Displays a summary of the operating status of the agents displayed in the navigation frame. Hidden agents are not included.

  • When cleared:

    Displays a summary of the operating status of all agents under the directory selected in the navigation frame. Hidden agents are included.

Each area is described below.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Server Operational Status area

This area shows in a graph the operational statuses of the servers (the number of servers running, stopped, unknown, and monitoring suspended) under the selected directory. Also, the number of running and stopped servers are listed in a table.

Clicking the Server Operational Status menu expands or closes the display.

Server operational status (pie graph)

The operating statuses of servers are shown for the following items:

  • Running

  • Stopped

  • Unknown

  • Monitoring suspended

Server operational status (list)

The operating statuses of servers are listed for the following items:

  • Running

  • Stopped

  • Total

  • Running rate

If Stopped is 1 or more, clicking the number displays the Stopped Host List window. This enables you to check the host name of the stopped server. The following figure is an example of the Stopped Host List window.

The following describes the displayed items in the Stopped Host List window:

Stopped Host List

Lists the host names of servers that have stopped.

Close button

Closes the Stopped Host List window.

(2) Agent Operational Status area

This area shows in a graph the operational statuses of the agents (the number of agents running, stopped, unknown, and monitoring suspended) under the selected directory. Also, the number of running and stopped agents are listed in a table.

Clicking the Agent Operational Status menu expands or closes the display.

User tree view

If you select this check box, the operating status will be displayed for each folder that was created in the agents tree by the login user.

If in the agents tree of the navigation frame, Products is selected in Display format, this check box is not displayed and, in the Agent operational status list, the operating status is displayed for the products tree only.

Product type view

If you select this check box, the operating status will be displayed for each group of folders that was grouped together for each PFM - Agent or PFM - RM product.

If in the agents tree of the navigation frame, Products is selected in Display format, this check box is not displayed and, in the Agent operational status list, the operating status is displayed for the products tree only.

The operating statuses of agents are shown for the following items:

  • Running

  • Stopped

  • Unknown

  • Monitoring suspended

  • Running

  • Stopped

  • Total

  • Running rate

(3) Agent Alarm Status area

This area shows in a graph and table the alarm monitoring statuses of the agents (the numbers of normal, warning, abnormal, and monitoring suspended statuses) under the selected directory. The alarms for which Always notify is not selected are subject to agent alarm monitoring.

Clicking the Agent Alarm Status menu expands or closes the display.

Agent Alarm Status (pie graph)

The alarm monitoring statuses of agents are shown for the following items:

  • Normal

  • Warning

  • Abnormal

  • Monitoring suspended

Agent Alarm Status (list)

The alarm monitoring statuses of agents are listed for the following items:

  • Normal count

  • Warning count

  • Abnormal count

  • State ratio

(4) Event page

Lists outstanding agent events and alarm events only, under the selected directory.
