JP1 Version 12 JP1/Performance Management Planning and Configuration Guide

4.3 Specifying and changing the Performance Management system configuration

When you have changed the setup and configuration of systems being monitored, you need to change the Performance Management system configuration. This section explains how to change the Performance Management system configuration.

Important

You cannot change the system locale of the server while a Performance Management program (except PFM - Web Console) is running. To change the system locale of the server, uninstall all Performance Management programs other than PFM - Web Console, and then change the system locale of the server. Afterwards, re-install the Performance Management programs.

As an exception to the above, you can change the system locale of the server while PFM - Web Console is running. When you change the system locale, check the usrconf.cfg file and change the language settings in the usrconf.cfg file so that they match the system locale. For details about the option definition file (usrconf.cfg), see the chapter that describes definition files in the manual JP1/Performance Management Reference.

Refer to the subsections listed below to set up and change the system configuration.
