5.2.2 Checking Item statuses from the process perspective
From the process perspective, you can view a detailed breakdown of Item statuses in a target system, and find out whether a problem has occurred within a given process.
Only the following users can perform these operations:
-
Process work board managers
-
Users who have view permission for Items in the target process work board#
-
Users who belong to the work management role or the process work board management role
- #
-
If the option to set view permissions for individual Items is enabled for the target process work board, Items for which the user does not have view permission contribute to the totals in the Check status area of the main window (Item status). However, the list of target Items in the main window (Item status) only displays the Items for which the user is registered as a view permission owner.
To view the status of Items from the process perspective:
-
Click the Switch from the main screen button in the toolbar.
The main window (Item status) appears. You can skip this step if your browser already shows the main window (Item status).
-
In the menu in the main window (Item status), click Process perspective.
The status of Items from the process perspective appears in the check status area of the main window (Item status). You can skip this step if the Check status area already displays Item statuses from the process perspective.
The following figure shows the main window (Item status) with Item statuses displayed from the process perspective in the Check status area.

When a target system is selected in the menu, you can display the View the process work board window from the process perspective of the main window (Item status) by clicking a process name, or by selecting View the process work board from the right-click menu.
