4.3.7 Changing the range of the Item Management window

The Item Management window provides a function that limits the contents of the main window (Item list) to Items registered within a specific time period defined by the system administrator. When you enable the Item Management window function, the time period for which Items are being displayed is shown at the top of the main window (Item list). The system administrator can change the range of the Item Management window at the user level.

The following figure shows the main window (Item list) with the Item Management window function enabled:

Organization of this subsection

(1) Changing the range of the Item Management window

To change the range of Items displayed in the Item Management window:

  1. From the menu in the main window (Item list), select View and then Range of the Item Management window.

The window "Range of the Item Management window" appears. The following figure shows the window "Range of the Item Management window":

  2. From the Displayed range (year/month) pull-down menu, select the last year and month for which to display Items in the Item Management window.

The first year and month for which Items are displayed is set automatically, based on the selected last year and month and the span of the Item Management window.

  3. In the menu, click Settings.

The range of the Item Management window changes, and you are returned to the main window (Item list).

Notes:
  • You cannot change the span of the Item Management window.

  • When there are Items from earlier than 1970 registered in the system, the earliest year and month in the pull-down menu is Jan. 1970.

  • When you use the above procedure to reposition the Item Management window, the change remains in effect until you log out of JP1/Service Support. The Item Management window reverts to its original position when you log in again. For details on how to configure the Item Management window function, see the JP1/Service Support Configuration and Administration Guide.
