jssitemstoredbrotate (rotates Item storage databases)

Description

This command rotates active storage areas of the Item storage database. You can use the jssdbstatchk.bat (checks the database status) command to check the status of the storage areas. For details see jssdbstatchk.bat (checks the database status) in Chapter 12. Commands.

Arguments

-rotate

Rotates active storage areas of the Item storage database. Storage areas of the Item storage database are rotated according to the following rules:

  • The two storage areas are rotated from storage area A to storage area B.

  • Storage area B is switched to storage area A.

  • One storage area is not switched to the other storage area that has not been set up.

-q

Continues rotating the storage areas of the Item storage database without displaying a confirmation message. If you do not specify the -q option, the system displays a message to ask whether to continue rotating the storage areas.
