9.2.3 Deleting users

To delete a user:

  1. From the menu in the main window (Item list), select Option and then User management.

    The User management window appears.

  2. Select the check boxes for the user or users you want to delete.

    You can delete multiple users in a single operation. The following figure shows the User management window with users selected.

    You can change the order of user information in the User management window by clicking a column header to sort the list by that column. By default, the list is sorted by the Name column. An icon appears in the column header indicating whether the column is sorted in ascending order (▲) or descending order (▼).

    You can select all listed users by selecting the check box in the column header. If you clear the check box in the header, all the selected check boxes are cleared. Note that you cannot delete the jp1admin user.

  3. From the menu, select Action and then Delete.

    A confirmation message appears. Click OK to delete the user or users. When you delete user information, the deletion takes effect when you next edit an Item.
