• Is the kernel parameter set appropriately?

• Is an existing host name specified in LOGICALHOSTNAME or ONLINEHOSTNAME?

• Is the logical IP associated with the host specified in LOGICALHOSTNAME valid?

• Does the host name of the physical host or logical host where the IM database is set up meet the conditions listed below? If not, correct the host name so that the conditions can be met. Make sure that the host name persists even after the operating system restarts.

  - Physical host name

  A name consists of alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and periods (.), and the maximum length is 32 characters.

  - Logical host name

  A name consists of alphanumeric characters and hyphens (-), and the maximum length is 32 characters.
