An error occurred while the IM database service was being installed.

O:

If the following error code is displayed, take the indicated corrective action:

• Error code: 02

  A file of the IM database service cannot be updated because a process (for example, event viewer, virus scan, or backup software) is using that file. Restart the machine and make sure that the event viewer, virus scan, and backup software are not started, and then re-execute the command. If a setup information file is specified for a command option, do not change the contents of the setup information file before executing the command.

• Error code: Other than 02

  If another error message was output before this message, take the corrective action given for that message, restart the machine, and then re-execute the command.

  If no error message was output before this message, check the following items, restart the machine, and then re-execute the command:

  - Does the file system of the path specified in IMDBDIR correspond to a large file?

  - Is the kernel parameter set appropriately?

  - Is an existing host name specified in LOGICALHOSTNAME or ONLINEHOSTNAME?

  - Is the logical IP associated with the host specified in LOGICALHOSTNAME valid?

If the message appears again after the above actions are taken, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
