• Make sure that the log directory exists, and that there is read and write permission for the log directory.

• If operating in a cluster environment, check the following items:

  • Does the defined log directory exist?

  • Is the common disk mounted?

  • Is there read and write permission for the defined log directory?

• If the command is executed with the -h option, make sure that the command was issued from the primary host.
