If the following detailed information is displayed, take the indicated corrective action.

  • The OS information does not exist.

    In the IM Configuration Management window, make sure that the OS type is displayed in the host information.

    If it is not displayed, click Operation, and then Collect Host Information to confirm that the OS type is displayed.

  • There are not enough resources.

    Make sure that there is sufficient disk space, memory, or other OS resources.

  • IM Configuration Management database access error.

    Execute the jimdbstatus command, and then make sure that the IM database service is running. If the IM database service is not running, start the IM database service.

  • The profile has already been registered.

  • The profile name is already in use by a process or service. Use a different profile name.

    It is possible that multiple log file traps have been started from the same configuration file.

    Log in to the agent machine, and then start only one log file trap for each configuration file.

    If you want to start multiple log file traps in the same definition, copy the contents to a file with a different name, and then retry the operation.

If detailed information other than the above is output, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
