  Check whether the root certificate exists.

  • If the root certificate exists, check whether you have read permission for the root certificate. If not, set read permission for the root certificate.

  • If the certificate does not exist, put a root certificate in place.

• If The root authentication certificate could not be read. is displayed for cause, check the following, and then re-execute the command:

  • Check for problems in the root certificate file.

  • Check the appropriate OS log listed below to determine if a shortage has occurred in an OS resource such as file descriptors.

If the problem cannot be resolved, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
