Figure 4‒19: Status-Change Condition Settings window for a monitoring group

[Figure]

The following describes the items displayed in the Status-Change Condition Settings window for a monitoring group.

Condition name

The user enters the name of an event condition for changing the application status of the monitoring group. The maximum length is 63 bytes. Note that duplicate condition names cannot be specified for one monitoring group.

Status

The user selects the status in which the monitoring group is to be placed when the specified condition is met. Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning, Normal, or Debug can be selected from the drop-down list.

Child node status

The user selects the application status of a child node that causes the status of the monitoring group to change. Emergency, Alert, Critical, Error, Warning, Normal, or Debug can be selected from the drop-down list.

Comparison condition

Specifies either the percentage or the number of child nodes placed in the selected status as the threshold that triggers changing of the monitoring group status.

  • Percentage (n % or higher)

You can specify a value in the range from 1 to 100 (%). If you enter 100, the status of the monitoring group changes when all the child nodes are in the selected status.

  • Number (n items or more)

You can specify a value in the range from 1 to 50,000. If you enter 50,001 or a larger value, an error occurs when you click the OK button.
