4.11 Visual Icon Selection window
The Visual Icon Selection window is used to select the Visual Icons for monitoring nodes used in the Monitoring Tree window (when Icon View is selected for the Details display area) and the Visual Monitoring windows. The Visual Icon Selection window is displayed when the user clicks the Change button for Visual Icons on the General page of the Properties window.
The following figure shows an example of the Visual Icon Selection window.

When the user selects a Visual Icon displayed in the Visual Icon Selection window and clicks the OK button, the Visual Icon of the specified monitoring node changes to the selected Visual Icon. To list Visual Icons in the Visual Icon Selection window, the user must create the JP1/IM - View folder indicated below and store the files ahead of time. If JP1/IM - View is installed on multiple hosts, the Visual Icons must be distributed to each viewer.
The following describes the location, formats, and size of the images to be used as Visual Icons displayed in the Visual Icon Selection window:

The maximum length of the file name is 260 bytes, which includes the path to the file storage location and the file name with its extension.

Minimum size: 24 x 24 pixels
Maximum size: 2,048 x 2,048 pixels
When a file name is selected in the file list, the image and the size are displayed in the Preview window. If a Visual Icon has not been set for the monitoring node, choose No Visual Icon in the file list.
