3.16.2 Conditions Apply Period page

The Conditions Apply Period page is used to set the period during which the common exclusion-conditions in extended mode are applied. The Arrived time attribute (B.ARRIVEDTIME), which is a basic attribute for JP1 events, is used as the base time for the period. The period specified on the Period settings and Time settings areas is compared with the base time to determine the conditions apply period for the common exclusion-conditions in extended mode. For details about the applicable period, see 4.2.7 Common exclusion-conditions in the JP1/Integrated Management 2 - Manager Overview and System Design Guide.

Note that if the Common Exclusion-Condition Settings (Extended) window is opened by choosing Exclude by Common Exclusion-Conditions, no initial settings are specified.

The following describes the items displayed on the Conditions Apply Period page.

Period settings

To set the period during which the common exclusion-conditions in extended mode will be applied, select the Enable check box in this area. If only the start day is specified, the conditions will always be applied indefinitely from the specified day. If only the end day is set, the conditions will always be applied until the specified day. If the Enable check box is not selected, the conditions will always be applied.

A time period from GMT 1970/01/01 to GMT 2038/01/19 can be specified.

Time settings

This area can be used to specify detailed settings about the period during which the common exclusion-conditions in extended mode will be applied. For example, the days of the week and the time period on the days that the conditions will be applied can be set. The start time cannot be omitted. If the end time is omitted, a 24-hour period from the start time will be set.

The start time and end time can be specified in the range from 00:00 to 23:59.

If you specify an end time that is earlier than the start time, the system uses the specified time on the following day as the end time. Similarly, if you specify the same end and start time, the system uses the specified time on the following day as the end time.

The Conditions Apply Period includes the start time but not the end time. For example, if you specify 21:00 and 03:00 on Monday as the start and end times respectively, the common exclusion-conditions apply from 21:00:00 on Monday to 02:59:59 on Tuesday.
