JP1 Version 12 JP1/Integrated Management 2 - Manager Overview and System Design Guide

3.4.2 Completed-action linkage function

The completed-action linkage function automatically changes the status of a management object according to the event status of a JP1 event related to the management object. The status of the monitoring object is changed in conjunction with the event status of the JP1 event related to the management object that is shown in the Central Console or the event view of the integrated operation viewer, or changed by the jcochstat command.

This subsection provides some examples of changes in the status of a management object due to changes to the event status of the JP1 event related to the management object.

When the JP1 event is a consolidation event, the event status of the consolidation start event is displayed. In order for the status to change, you have to change not only the event status of the consolidation start event but also the event statuses of all repeated events as resolved.

Organization of this subsection

(1) If there is one JP1 event related to the management object and the event status is changed to Processed from a status other than Processed

The status of the management object is changed to Normal from the status evaluated based on the related JP1 event.
