Disadvantage

32-bit version

  • It uses the same file format as 11-00 or earlier, and thus there is no need to change the user assets.

  • In the 64-bit version of Excel, the import and export functions are not available. (The definition information management template can be edited.)

  • The upper limit of the number of units is 65,000.

64-bit version

  • The upper limit of the number of units is 1,048,556.

  • In the 32-bit version of Excel, the import and export functions are not available. (The definition information management template can be edited.)

  • It uses more memory than the 32-bit version.

  • Processing takes more time than the 32-bit version.

  • The size of a file gets larger than that in the 32-bit version.

In version 11-10, there is no functional difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, but their environment setting parameters are different. For details, see 3.2 Environment settings parameters.
