Check whether any of the JP1/AJS3 - View instances currently connected to JP1/AJS3 - Manager are using the unit.

To check JP1/AJS3 - View connection information, execute the ajsstatus command with the -v option specified on JP1/AJS3 - Manager at the connection destination.

If the specified unit or lower units are displayed in any of the following windows, close the window, and then try the operation again:

• JP1/AJS3 - View window

• Jobnet Editor window

• Monthly Calendar window

• Annual Calendar window

• Daily Schedule (Hierarchy) window

• Daily Schedule (All Jobs) window

• Monthly Schedule window

• Jobnet Monitor window

If JP1/AJS3 - View is disconnected due to a communication error, the connection sometimes stays open and the unit remains in use. In this case, wait until the failed connection times out, and then execute the ajsstatus command with the -v option specified. Make sure that the failed connection has terminated, and then try the operation again.

You can reduce the length of time until a connection is terminated by specifying the SESSIONTIMEOUT environment setting parameter in JP1/AJS3 - Manager at the connection destination. The default value for SESSIONTIMEOUT is dword:00000078 (120 in decimal; unit: minutes).
