2.5.3 Specifications related to decoding MIME or other encoded email
This subsection describes specifications regarding how the mail filter application converts email encoded in MIME or other formats so that the JP1/AJS3 mail system linkage function can use the email.
When the mail system receives MIME or other encoded email, it must detect encoding and decode the email accordingly.
Create a mail filter application that can decode encoded email. The mail filter application must also be able to convert the character code of the email text if the text uses a different character code than that of the language with which JP1/AJS3 is running.
