1.5.6 Commands used to execute jobs

The following table lists the commands used to execute a single job, not a jobnet.

Command execution requires you to register the OS user executing commands with the authentication server as a JP1 user. The privilege required to execute commands is shown on a command basis. As required, you should give the privilege to the JP1 user. For details about the execution privilege, see 6.4 Setting access permissions in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Work Tasks) Guide.

Cautionary note

If the "Required privileges" column lists more than one privilege, you need only have one of the listed privileges to execute the command.

Note

On a Windows host, before you execute a command that must be executed by a user with administrator privileges, make sure that you open the Command Prompt window as an administrator. If the UAC function is disabled, you do not need to open the Command Prompt window as an administrator.
