7.3 Releasing the jobnet from registration for execution

The procedure of releasing the jobnet from registration for execution is as follows.

To release the jobnet from registration for execution:

1. In the JP1/AJS3 - View window, in Function Menu, click Cancel Registration.

   Cancel Registration is now selected.

2. In the tree area, click the job group that manages the jobnet you want to release from registration for execution.

   The job group you clicked is now selected.

   The root jobnet appears in the list area.

3. Click the target root jobnet, choose Operations, and then Cancel Registration.

   The Cancel Registration dialog box appears.

   You can select multiple root jobnets at a time by clicking them while holding down the Ctrl key or Shift key. Selecting multiple root jobnets like this displays only one Register for Execution dialog box for all the root jobnets you selected.

4. Click Cancel method.

   If you select Specify period, specify the period for canceling registration.

5. Click the OK button.

   The Cancel Registration dialog box closes.

   The jobnet is released from registration for execution. Note that, in step 3, selecting multiple root jobnets causes all the selected root jobnets to be registered for execution with the same settings.

Cautionary notes

• You cannot directly release the registration for execution of nested jobnets. If you want to release the registration for execution of a nested jobnet, release the registration for execution of the root jobnet.

• If a jobnet is being executed or monitored, it cannot be released from registration for execution.

Supplementary notes

• You can also open the Cancel Registration dialog box from the following windows:

  - Daily Schedule (Hierarchy) window

  - Monthly Schedule window

• At a jobnet distribution destination, when you restore a distributed jobnet, release the jobnet from registration for execution and then restore the jobnet.

• If you want to release the registration for execution of a jobnet with a start condition when the jobnet has already started, first forcibly end the execution of its root jobnet in the Now monitoring or Now running status (check the execution result list in the Monthly Schedule window). Then release the registration for execution of the jobnet with the start condition.
