To rebuild and resume activity at the main site:

Cautionary notes
  • The following procedure is applicable whether or not the logical host names at the main site and remote site are the same.

  • If the logical host names at the main site and remote site are the same, specify the logical host name of the main site for logical-host-at-remote-site as a command argument in the procedure.

  1. Export the disaster recovery operation setup information at the remote site.

    Execute the following command:

    jajs_rpenvexport -h logical-host-at-remote-site -d output-directory
  2. Rebuild the main site.

Rebuild the main site using the same procedure you used to build the remote site when setting up the JP1/AJS3 system, with reference to 9.2.3 Setting up the remote site in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide (for Windows) or 18.2.3 Setting up the remote site in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide (for UNIX).

After rebuilding the main site, use a hardware operation to initiate the copy process from the remote site to the main site.
