11.2 Switching operation

The following figure shows the flow of disaster recovery operation, from the point when JP1/AJS3 begins operating in disaster recovery mode until operation switches to the remote site and back again.

After the disaster recovery environment has been constructed, the JP1/AJS3 system begins operating as normal. If a major event causes the main site to shut down, system operation switches to the remote site and work task activity resumes. If the disaster-affected site is able to be restored, the main site can be rebuilt and operation switched back.
