7.10.1 Timing when changes to an operation profile take effect
The following figure shows when the changes to an operation profile take effect.
Changes to an operation profile take effect as follows:
- When the JP1/AJS3 service starts
-
Of the scheduler services configured in the host, the changes are applied to the scheduler services that have an operation profile stored in the environment settings file storage folder ((A) in the figure).
No changes are applied to scheduler services without an operation profile.
- When the ajsprofalter -m set command is executed
-
The operation profile for the scheduler service set in the -F option is reloaded and applied ((B) and (E) in the figure).
- When the ajsprofalter -m unset command is executed
-
The operation profile for the scheduler service specified in the -F option is disabled ((C) in the figure).
- When a scheduler service starts
-
If the environment settings file storage folder contains an operation profile for the scheduler service being activated, the profile is read and applied ((D) in the figure).
No changes are applied if the scheduler service being activated does not have an operation profile.
- When the JP1/AJS3 service stops
-
The operation profiles for all scheduler services configured in the host are disabled ((F) in the figure).
