2.3.7 Recovering the JP1/AJS3 - Web Console setup information

The following is a list of the tasks for recovering the setup information of JP1/AJS3 - Web Console from the backup data.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Recovering JP1/Base or JP1/AJS3 - Manager

If JP1/Base or JP1/AJS3 - Manager is to be recovered on the same host as JP1/AJS3 - Web Console, be sure to recover JP1/Base or JP1/AJS3 - Manager before recovering JP1/AJS3 - Web Console.

(2) Installing and setting up JP1/AJS3 - Web Console

Install and set up JP1/AJS3 - Web Console.

(3) Restoring the JP1/AJS3 - Web Console files

Restore the JP1/AJS3 - Web Console files from the backup data to the new environment. If you want to use the communication encryption function, be sure to also restore the files for the communication encryption function from the backup data to the original location.

Cautionary note

Before you restore the files, make sure that the following conditions are met:

  • The services of JP1/AJS3 Web Application Server and JP1/AJS3 HTTP Server have been stopped.

  • To recover a cluster-configuration environment, the setup procedure for cluster operation must have been performed.

  • To recover the settings files on a shared disk in a cluster configuration, the shared disk must be mounted.

(4) Starting the services

Start the JP1/AJS3 Web Application Server service and the JP1/AJS3 HTTP Server service.
