6.10.11 HTTP status codes returned and the actions to be taken when the Dashboard window does not appear

This subsection describes the HTTP status codes returned and the actions to be taken when the Dashboard window does not appear.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Action to be taken when the status code 502 Bad Gateway is returned

When this status code is returned, Navigation Platform is up and running, but the dashboard server is down. Start the dashboard server.

When the dashboard server service is configured to start automatically, wait awhile and then access the Dashboard window.

(2) Action to be taken when the status code 403 Forbidden is returned

When this status code is returned, the user ID of the user accessing the Dashboard window is not included in the list of user IDs of users who are allowed access to the Dashboard window. Check the settings specified in the ucnp.base.server.dashboard.auth.userids property in the user property file (ucnp_user.properties). This property sets the list of user IDs of users who are allowed access to the Dashboard window.

(3) Action to be taken when the status code 401 Unauthorized is returned

When this status code is returned, it means that you tried accessing the Dashboard window either while you were logged out of Navigation Platform or after the session had timed out. In this case, access the login window of Navigation Platform, log in to Navigation Platform again, and then try accessing the Dashboard window.
