6.6.4 Notes on printing
The following provides notes on display of the print window and results of printing for Operational Content.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Notes on display of the print window
-
In some web browsers, the zoom rate can be specified. However, the print window might not be displayed correctly if the zoom rate is not 100%.
-
In the guide area, for a text box part that is used as a password box, an empty character string is displayed as the initial value.
-
If there is an inline frame part in the guide area, the processing written in the link-target file is executed. If a focusing action is implemented in the link-target file, focus is placed on the inline frame when the print window is opened.
-
A drop-down part displays all preset labels regardless of the parent-child relationship.
-
Regardless of the whether attributes are set, an HTML part is displayed without the parameters embedded into the HTML source strings.
-
If the source HTML of an HTML part has an error, correct behavior cannot be guaranteed.
-
If parts are not placed completely within the operational flow area or guide area, the print window displays those parts in their entirety. As a result, some parts might overlap on the logo image or the Display scope menu in the header area.
(2) Notes on results of printing
-
Adjust the zoom rate so that the operational flow area fits in one page. If the print target spans multiple pages, parts placed across pages might not be displayed correctly. The same applies to parts placed across pages in the guide area.
-
For the flow parts, except image parts, relation lines are always placed in the rearmost ground. Even if you use the Front/back order setting in the Attribute Settings window to set flow parts behind relation lines, flow parts are always displayed in the foreground in the display window.
-
With some printers and printer drivers, labels might be printed with a different font size from the font size that is used for displayed labels. As a result, line breaks might take place at inappropriate positions.
-
If your web browser is Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, enable the Background graphics setting.
