4.13.12 Items in the Attribute Settings window (HTML part in the guide area)
The following describes the items in the Attribute Settings window.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) HTML source string text box
Enter the source code of the content to be displayed on the HTML part. By default, HTML is displayed.
An error occurs in the following cases:
-
A character string of more than 65,535 characters is entered.
-
A character string containing an ASCII code from 0x00 to 0x08, 0x0B, 0x0C, 0x0E to 0x1F, or 0x7F is entered.
- Cautionary notes:
-
-
Input the source code according to HTML 4.01 (Strict) Document Type Definition. If the input is not based on Document Type Definition, operation is unpredictable.
-
You cannot enter tabs in the Attribute Settings window. If you want to use tabs, copy the source code input to a text file, and then paste it in the text box.
-
The content of the input is not sanitized.
-
When you specify the font size by a CSS, specify a value of no more than 128 pixels. If you specify a value more than 128 pixels, the web browser might slow down considerably.
-
(2) Search keyword text box
When you use the Operational Content search function, specify a keyword as the search-target information. The keyword must be a character string of no more than 65,535 characters. The Search keyword text box appears only when the search function is enabled by system settings.
An error occurs in the following case:
-
A character string containing an ASCII code from 0x00 to 0x1F, or 0x7F is entered.
- Cautionary note:
-
-
Only the character string entered in the Search keyword text box is the search target. The character string entered in the HTML source string text box is not the search target.
-
- Supplementary notes:
-
-
You can also specify a keyword that includes spaces. You do not need to enclose such a keyword by quotation marks (") or other symbols.
Note that, in a keyword including spaces, single-byte and double-byte spaces are distinguished from each other.
-
If the search function is disabled after a value is entered in the Search keyword text box, the Search keyword text box is hidden. The entered value, however, is retained. Therefore, when the search function is enabled again, the value previously entered in the Search keyword text box can be used.
-
(3) Guide Part ID text box
For the Guide Part ID, enter a character string (of no more than 20 single-byte characters) that uniquely identifies the Guide Part. Use the Guide Part ID text box when you change an automatically set Guide Part ID.
You can enter single-byte alphanumeric characters, single-byte hyphen (-), and single-byte underscore (_). You can also enter an empty character string in this text box. Any character strings that you enter other than an empty character string must be unique to one another in the same guide area.
(4) Embed paramerters in HTML source string check box
Use this check box to specify whether to embed a parameter into an HTML source string typed into the HTML source string text box.
If you select this check box, the parameter settings area (Parameter list) is shown. If you clear this check box, the parameter settings area is hidden from view.
Regardless of whether the parameter settings area is shown or hidden, parameter information set in the parameter settings area is retained in the Operational Content.
(5) Parameter settings area (Parameter list)
This area is displayed only when the Embed parameters in HTML source string check box is selected.
