(1) Notes on creating an external CSS file
When creating an external CSS file, note the following points:
-
Make sure that you define a class selector in element-name.selector-name format. You must not omit the element name, period (.), and selector name. If a class selector is defined in any other format, operation is unpredictable.
For example, if you define a class selector as div.css_sample, you can use the defined CSS by specifying css_sample in the class attribute for the div tag.
-
Do not use any of the following character strings as the prefix for the class selector name:
-
ucnp
-
hptl
-
access
-
-
The reference link from an HTML part to the external CSS file is set automatically. You do not need to set the <LINK> tag.
