4.10.3 Parent-child relationship between drop-down parts

When you place multiple drop-down parts, the options displayed by a drop-down part can be varied dynamically according to the selection the user previously made in another drop-down part. In other words, you can set a parent-child relationship between drop-down parts. The drop-down part that serves as the source is called the parent drop-down part, and the drop-down part that varies options (items for selection) is called a child drop-down part. The following figure shows an example of drop-down parts in a parent-child relationship.
