4.9.5 Items in the Attribute Settings window (radio button part in the guide area)
The following describes the items in the Attribute Settings window.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) Displayed string text box
Enter the label for the radio button. By default, Radio is displayed as the label. An error occurs in the following cases:
-
A character string of more than 1,024 bytes is entered. (When using double-byte characters, enter a label of no more than 340 characters.)
-
A character string containing an ASCII code from 0x00 to 0x1F or 0x7F is entered.
(2) Value text box
Enter the value of the radio button. The value of a radio button is the information a Plugin Part uses to determine the radio button that is selected. The value must always be entered. The value to be entered for a radio button must be unique in the radio button group to which the radio button belongs.
An error occurs in the following cases:
-
A character string of more than 128 bytes is entered. (When using double-byte characters, enter a label of no more than 42 characters.)
-
An empty character string is entered.
-
A character string containing an ASCII code from 0x00 to 0x1F or 0x7F is entered.
-
Duplicate values are found in a radio group.
(3) Group name text box
Enter a group name for the radio buttons to be grouped. An error occurs in the following cases:
-
A character string of more than 128 bytes is entered. (When using double-byte characters, enter a label of no more than 42 characters.)
-
A character string containing an ASCII code from 0x00 to 0x1F or 0x7F is entered.
If you do not define any radio button group, all the placed radio buttons that do not belong to any groups are assumed to be in a radio group. Therefore, an error occurs if a duplicate value is specified for multiple radio buttons that do not belong to any groups.
The radio buttons for which an empty character string is entered in the Group name text box are handled as a group of radio buttons.
(4) Guide Part ID text box
For the Guide Part ID, enter a character string (no more than 20 single-byte characters) that uniquely identifies the Guide Part. Use the Guide Part ID text box when you change an automatically set Guide Part ID.
You can enter single-byte alphanumeric characters, single-byte hyphen (-), and single-byte underscore (_). You can also enter an empty character string. When entering a character string other than an empty character string, enter a character string that is unique in the same guide area.
(5) Store label information too. check box
If this check box is selected, the displayed string and value are connected by using a linefeed code (\r\n) and then stored as the cached value. If no group name is set, the selection status of the Store label information too. check box for all radio buttons for which no group name is set will become the same. If a group name is set, the selection status of the Store label information too. check box for all radio buttons in the applicable group will become the same.
By default, if a radio button for which no group name is set already exists, the selection status of the Store label information too. check box in this window will be the same as that of the Store label information too. check box of the radio button for which no group name is set. If no such radio button exists, the Store label information too. check box will be cleared (not selected) by default.
