4.9.2 How to use radio button parts (guide area)
When you use radio button parts, always place two or more radio button parts together at a location. Grouping the radio button parts placed together enables the user to select a radio button from the radio buttons (options) in the same group. For example, to create the radio buttons for gender selection, create the Male radio button and Female radio button, and then define these two radio buttons as the select group.
You can use radio button parts effectively, for example, in the following cases:
-
Options are fixed (when only one option can be selected).
-
The content of input is fixed, or you want to save the user the trouble of input.
-
Selection result data is used for other Guide Parts or external programs.
Using the selection result data for other Guide Parts or external programs such as JP1/AO requires Plugin Parts. For details about Plugin Parts, see 5.3 Plugin Parts.
