4.7.4 Notes on setting input rules for text areas
-
To check the input value specified in the Input rule text box for a node, direct transition from the node must be allowed for only the nodes to which direct transition has occurred once or must be disabled. If direct transition from the node to all other nodes in the Operational Flow is enabled, the setting in the Input rule text box is ignored.
For details about the direct transition setting of a node, ask the system administrator.
-
When the operation log is used, the I/O Plugin must be used to check input values instead of the Input rule text box. For details about whether the input log is used, ask the system administrator.
-
The input value check using the plugin is performed after the input value check, according to the input rule set in the Attribute Settings window.
-
If input value errors concurrently occur on multiple Guide Parts, a maximum of 10 Guide Parts, including the Guide Part placed first, are highlighted, and corresponding error messages are displayed. The error messages are displayed in the order of Guide Part placement, beginning with the Guide Part placed earliest. Guide Part placement is irrelevant to the order that error messages are displayed.
-
If multiple Guide Parts for which input rules can be specified are copied at the same time, input values are checked in the order selected at copying. Error messages are also displayed in the order selected at copying.
-
If a Guide Part for which input rules can be specified is deleted once, and then that deletion is canceled with the Undo button, the order of checking input values might be changed.
-
When you enable input by line feed, we recommend that you specify the highest maximum number of input characters as required. One line feed is counted as two characters.
