4.1 General procedure for creating a Guide

You can create a Guide for a Process Node displayed in the operational flow area. You cannot create a Guide for Terminal Nodes and Branch Nodes.

The following describes the general procedure for creating a Guide:

1. Select a Process Node in the operational flow area.

   The Guide palette appears in the guide area to enable you to place Guide Parts.

2. Place Guide Parts.

3. Specify attributes of the placed Guide Parts.

   Double-click a Guide Part to open the Attribute Settings window. In the Attribute Settings window, specify the appearance and other attributes of each Guide Part.

   After specifying settings, click the Update button to apply the specified settings. If you do not want to apply the settings, click the Cancel button.

4. On the toolbar, click (Save button).

   The Operational Content is saved.
