The following describes the items in the Attribute Settings window.
- Organization of this subsection
(1) URL text box
Enter the path to the image file you want to display in the guide area. Specify a file in the format that can be displayed on the web browser.
- Note
-
If you want to use an image file displayed in the File Management/Registration window, clicking the Set URL button automatically sets into the URL text box the path to the image file you want to display in the guide area.
The following describes the URL format you can enter. The path format you can specify varies depending on whether the file to be used is stored on the web server for Navigation Platform, or any other web server.
- To specify a file stored on the web server for Navigation Platform:
-
Specify a relative path from the content storage directory on the web server (Navigation-Platform-installation-directory\PP\uCPSB\httpsd\htdocs).
The following example shows how to specify an image file named ucnp.gif that is stored in the images directory created under the content storage directory on the web server.
/images/ucnp.gif
- To specify a file stored on the web server other than for Navigation Platform:
-
Specify the file in protocol://host-name:port-number/file-path format.
-
protocol: http or https
-
host-name: Host name or IP address of the web server
-
port-number: Port number of the web server
-
file-path: Path to the file stored on the web server
The following example shows how to specify an image file named image1.gif stored in the images directory on the web server using the HTTP protocol, host name host1, and port number 55555.
http://host1:55555/images/image1.gif
-
An error occurs if you specify the following in the image file path name:
-
A character string consisting of more than 1,024 bytes
-
A character string containing ASCII codes from 0x00 to 0x1F and 0x7F
(2) File Management/Registration button
Clicking this button opens a separate window that is the File Management/Registration window.
(3) Tool tip text box
Enter the description of the image. An error occurs in the following cases:
-
A character string consisting of more than 128 bytes is entered. (For double-byte characters, enter 42 or fewer characters.)
-
A character string containing ASCII codes from 0x00 to 0x1F and 0x7F is entered.
If you specify an empty character string, a tooltip is not displayed.
(4) Image resizing radio button
Specify whether to resize the image according to the dimensions of the image part. Select either of the following options:
-
Keep the current image size.
If you select this option, the image is displayed in the original size. If the image is larger than the image part, the portion exceeding the image part is not displayed.
-
Adjust the image size to fit the display area.
If you select this option, the image is displayed, resized according to the dimensions of the image part.
(5) Front/back order text box
To display this part behind or in front of other image parts, specify the order from the front, as a single-byte number in the range from 1 to 100. Enter 1 to bring the part to the front. Enter 100 to send the part to the back.
The default is 1. A part that is newly added is displayed at the front.
- Cautionary note:
-
You can only specify the order of image parts. Even if you specify a value in the Front/back order text box, you cannot move this image part in front of other types of parts or nodes.
