3.1 General procedure for creating an Operational Flow

The following shows the general procedure for creating an Operational Flow.

  1. Place nodes in the operational flow area.

Nodes are components that make up an Operational Flow. A node represents a step or a branch.

In the Flow palette, select a node you want to place in the operational flow area.

  2. Draw relation lines between nodes.

A relation line is an arrow line representing transition from one node to another.

  3. If necessary, place static text and images (flow parts).

In the Flow palette, select flow parts you want to place in the operational area.

  4. Specify the attributes of nodes and flow parts.

In the Attribute Settings window, specify the names and appearance of nodes and flow parts. The Attribute Settings window is displayed by double-clicking a node or flow part.

After you finish the settings, click the Update button to apply the specified settings. If you do not want to apply the settings, click the Cancel button.

  5. On the toolbar, click [Figure] (Save button).

    The Operational Content is saved.
