2.9.8 Items in the File Management/Registration window

The following figure shows the File Management/Registration window.

The following describes the items in the File Management/Registration window.

Organization of this subsection

(1) New Folder menu item

Selecting this item enables you to create a folder to store static files.

(2) Delete menu item

Selecting this item deletes the static files selected (using check boxes) in the File Management/Registration window.

(3) To Upper Folder menu item

When this item is selected, the folder one level higher in hierarchy becomes a folder to store static files.

(4) Upload File text box

This text box displays the path name of the static file you selected by using the Browse button.

(5) Browse button

Clicking this button opens a dialog box to select the static files to be stored.

(6) Upload button

Clicking this button stores the static files you selected by using the Browse button.

(7) Get URL button

Clicking this button copies to the Clipboard the path to the static files in a format that can be used in the Image URL or URL text box in the Attribute Settings window.

(8) Set URL button

Clicking this button sets the static-file path into the Image URL or URL text box in the Attribute Settings window and closes the File Management/Registration window. Note that the Set URL button is displayed only when one of the following windows is open:

If you close the Attribute Settings window before clicking the Set URL button, no URL is set and the File Management/Registration window closes.

(9) Thumbnail of static file

When a static file is an image file, the thumbnail area displays a reduced or enlarged version of the image. When the static file is other than an image file, the thumbnail area displays a file icon. Clicking the thumbnail displayed for a static file displays the static file in a separate window.

(10) File name

Clicking a file name displays the corresponding static file in a separate window.

(11) Date Modified

This field indicates the date and time of updating of the corresponding static file.

(12) Folder icon

Clicking this icon moves to the corresponding folder for storing static files.

(13) Close button

Clicking this button closes the File Management/Registration window.
